Add this link to your assistant as a custom connector or MCP server:
https://app.tradiebridge.com/mcp
Your assistant opens TradieBridge so you can sign in and approve the connection. It can then answer from your backed-up Simpro records, and from Xero, Verizon Connect, Deputy, The Fleet Office, Dialpad and Moveware if you connect them too.
Before you start
Every assistant uses the same link, with OAuth sign-in. You need a TradieBridge account with Simpro connected. Paste a Simpro API key into TradieBridge and the first backup starts straight away.
Step-by-step for your assistant
- Claude: add the link in Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- ChatGPT: add the link as a custom MCP connector with OAuth. You may need Developer mode first.
- Microsoft Copilot: add the link to a Copilot Studio agent as a Model Context Protocol tool.
Other assistants
Gemini, Grok and any other assistant that supports MCP custom connectors with OAuth work the same way. Add the server link where the assistant asks for a connector URL.
Scripts and tools that can’t sign in
In TradieBridge, open Connect to AI → Access tokens and generate a token. Send it
with each request to the server link as Authorization: Bearer <token>. Copy the
token when it appears, because TradieBridge shows it only once.
What your assistant can do
- Read every record TradieBridge has backed up for your business.
- Start a sync or an export inside TradieBridge.
- Send us feedback in your words, once you agree to what it says.
It can’t change anything in Simpro or any other system you connect. TradieBridge never writes to them.
Disconnect an assistant
In TradieBridge, open Connect to AI and click Disconnect beside the assistant. It loses access straight away. To revoke a token, click Revoke beside it.
What to ask
- Which finished jobs haven’t been invoiced yet?
- Which jobs blew their quote on hours this month?
- Do the timesheets match last week’s pay run?
- Is anyone on site at Job 4281 right now?
